Meet the Artist
Hi, I’m Jenelle—the artist behind The Wet Brush Studio.
I create watercolor artwork inspired by memory, color, and the quiet moments that tend to stay with us. My work often begins with something simple—a place I’ve been, a color I can’t let go of, or a small detail that feels worth noticing—and is translated into soft, expressive watercolor paintings.
Growing up, I was always drawn to color and the way certain places could hold a feeling long after you left them. That influence continues to shape my work today, whether I’m painting bright citrus still lifes, blooming florals, or scenes inspired by travel and memory.
The Wet Brush Studio is built around the idea of slowing down and creating something tangible in a digital world. Through my monthly snail mail art club, I send watercolor prints, letters, and small paper goods designed to feel personal—like something you’d want to keep, not just open.
Each month’s collection is created as a complete experience, combining art, storytelling, and seasonal inspiration. It’s a way to share not just finished pieces, but the thoughts and moments behind them.
When I’m not painting, I’m usually spending time with my two very dramatic Akitas or thinking about my next color palette.
Thank you for being here and supporting my work—it truly means more than you know.
